Growth Manager - Events & Field Marketing

The Head of Events will report directly to Srikrishnan Ganesan, CEO and Co-founder. This executive must thrive in high-growth environments and have actively contributed to building high-performance, early-stage teams. Having a player-coach management style for the team in India would be crucial to this role.

This individual must be a part of scaling a rapidly growing business with multiple buyer/user personas, across the mid-market segment globally (including USA, UK, India, Europe, ANZ markets). The role will require the individual to establish a performance-based culture while infusing an appropriate level of process and prioritization. 

This individual will have a strong appreciation for an outcome-oriented approach, deeply understand human psyche, customer needs & behavior, own and manage the strategies and execution around events, ensuring high conversion rates, and pipeline creation. 

The leader will guide team members to help them achieve their individual and team goals and act as a career coach to assist them in reaching their career aspirations. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, customer marketing, sales, to develop and implement strategies that align with business objectives, analyze data to make informed decisions, and ultimately be accountable for the team's performance.



Responsibilities 


In this high-impact role, you'll get to


  • Build and own the 12- and 24-month strategic plan to meet event-driven ARR goal

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy and playbook aligned with the company's overall marketing objectives for MM customers.

  • Build your own team to ensure high-quality mid-market leads are provided to the sales teams. 

  • Establish playbooks and processes for all aspects of events, including conferences, trade shows, webinars, virtual events, roundtables, and other promotional activities.

  • Leverage extensive experience in field marketing for the US region to create targeted and effective campaigns.

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of global events, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand presence.

  • Own and manage pipeline goals, budgets, logistics and timelines for events, ensuring a high level of quality,  attendee satisfaction and maximum return on investment.

  • Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to align event strategies with broader company goals.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for events’ effectiveness and analyze post-event data to measure success, identify areas for improvement and optimization. 


Qualifications

  • 6+ years in SaaS and event leadership roles in mid-market and enterprise marketing org with deal sizes ranging between $45K-$300K for MM in the North American region. 

  • Experience in having a data-driven approach, optimizing for the right parameters on the go, and having strong execution capabilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven expertise in initiating and establishing strong relationships with MM and ENT customers

  • Track record of building and scaling high-performance events/field marketing teams and driving operational discipline in successful high-growth B2B SaaS startups 

  • A proactive go-getter capable of getting hands dirty and going from idea to execution and pushing the organization to change

  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to drive innovative event experiences.
