Channel Leader Role at Rocketlane
As the first channel hire at Rocketlane, you will be responsible for developing and driving our channel partner strategy to expand Rocketlane’s reach and revenue through alliances and partnerships. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to identify and nurture key channel relationships, ensuring our partners are equipped to succeed and drive mutual growth. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader experienced in building high-impact channel partnerships within the SaaS ecosystem.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of channel and partner ecosystems in the B2B SaaS space. You are skilled at relationship building, sales strategy, and delivering results in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Channel Strategy and Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive channel strategy to expand Rocketlane’s presence through partnerships. Identify and target potential channel partners that align with Rocketlane’s goals and market focus.
Channel Partner Enablement: Design and implement partner programs, training, and enablement initiatives to equip partners with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in selling and supporting Rocketlane’s products.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners. Act as a trusted advisor to partners, understanding their business objectives and aligning Rocketlane’s resources to support their success.
Channel Sales Leadership: Lead channel partner sales efforts by providing support and guidance during strategic partner sales engagements. Assist partners with deal negotiations and offer insights to improve sales outcomes.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to create a seamless partner experience. Drive alignment on partner goals, marketing initiatives, and customer success strategies.
Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics within the channel landscape. Leverage insights to refine channel strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
Metrics and Reporting: Set clear goals and KPIs for the channel program and manage performance to ensure targets are met. Report on channel metrics, pipeline contribution, and partner satisfaction to inform decision-making and growth plans.
Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through channel partners by setting ambitious targets and working alongside partners to achieve revenue and customer acquisition goals
