As a Sales Enablement Manager at Rocketlane, you will empower our sales team to succeed in their roles. 

You will be responsible for defining and executing an enablement strategy that equips our sellers with the knowledge, skills, and collateral needed to effectively position Rocketlane and win over prospects. 


Grasping the mindset of sellers and developing empathy towards buyers will be essential in enhancing win rates and accelerating the sales cycle.


In this role, you will work closely with the sales leadership, product marketing team, and product managers to devise effective sales plays and enablement plans.


Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Product and market mastery

Become a subject matter expert on Rocketlane's products and services, understanding them thoroughly and translating this knowledge into the specific needs of our customer-facing teams.

Collaborate with Sales leadership and Product Marketing to deliver comprehensive training on new products, product positioning, competitive intelligence, sales methodology, and objection handling.


Enablement strategy


Conduct a thorough analysis of the current skills, processes, and knowledge within the sales team.

Collaborate with the sales leadership team to identify strengths and areas for development, and then implement targeted training, coaching, and enablement programs.

Develop strategies to address common buyer objections and create sales plays and micro-learning modules to facilitate understanding.


Enablement collaterals & training delivery


Coordinate the creation of educational content for new feature launches and respond to ad-hoc training requests throughout the sales cycle.

Deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs to enhance the team's product expertise.

Develop and provide effective onboarding and training programs for new sales representatives.


Feedback loop


Establish metrics to measure the success of enablement programs, focusing on sales effectiveness and win rates. Gather feedback from the sales team and continuously refine and improve the enablement strategy and materials based on this feedback.


This role is ideal for candidates:


Overall  2-3 years of experience working as a product marketer focused on sales enablement or as a sales enablement specialist in SaaS.

An intuitive ability to explain complex concepts.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing them to achieve outcomes.

Strong delivery skills, both in-person and virtually.

Location in Chennai or willingness to relocate to Chennai.
